Medusa Geo-Consulting LLC offers professional mineral exploration and mining services, leveraging over 40 years of consulting experience to deliver exceptional results for our clients in the industry.

As the Group Chief Geologist for Falcon Gold Zimbabwe (Falgold), Mike was based at Dalny Mine, one of the largest and deepest gold mines in Zimbabwe with a monthly production of 120 kilograms of gold and was in charge of exploration and mining activities at all Falgold’s properties. He also served as Mine Manager at Dalny Mine that hosted over 1500 employees.

Being in charge of all Falgold’s geology departments, Mike was instrumental in the oversight, planning, training, and reporting of all mining and exploration programs, including several Exclusive Prospecting Orders (EPO’s) that encompassed extensive areas of Archean geology and mineral potential in Zimbabwe. Several of these EPO’s operated on budgets ranging between $8 million to $12 million and were successfully completed with several areas identified and either claimed or developed for their mineral potential.

In 2006, Mike created Medusa Geo-Consulting LLC after obtaining his Master Degree at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs (UCCS) and obtained his Certified Professional Geologist status with the American Institute of Professional Geologists (AIPG). He has over 40 years experience in precious and base metals exploration within Botswana, Kenya, Mozambique, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Zambia. He has Trimble GPS certification, ArcGis, Qgis, ArcView, ENVI software proficiency, and Satellite imagery (remote sensing) processing techniques.
